Hi Yuval,

He doesn't really do rolls, just plucked triplets, and not too many of those.
He mostly relies on the (fairly unique, and what some would probably call
"haunting" in the upper register) typical sound of the instrument, and not
on ornamentation to make his music interesting to the listener. And of course
by approaching the instrument this way he leaves enough room for Finbar's
piping, which does make use of ornaments (and drones) quite heavily.
