The Cawthron Institute, nelson, New Zealand, is looking for an experienced coastal water quality Scientist to join the Coastal and Freshwater Group.

The successful applicant will have a post graduate degree in the marine sciences with at least ten years experience in science disciplines relevant to addressing coastal challenges, have strong interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to our culture of science excellence.

A proven track record in securing funding and well-established professional networks are required. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and collaborative scientist to be part of a world-class organisation that prides itself on connecting science and society.

The position is based in Nelson at New Zealand's largest independent research organisation.
