The LIR Annual Seminar takes place on this Friday, 24th November at the Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin with the theme “Cultivating Libraries in a Post Digital Learning Ecosystem”. Registration closes midnight Tuesday 20th November. The keynote speakers include David White, University of the Arts London who gave a keynote at the recent Internet Librarian International Conference in London and Lee O’Farrell, UCD who is Project Manager on the national project “Learning Analytics & Educational Data Mining for Learning Impact”.
 
Samantha Holman, Irish Copyright Licencing Authority will talk about the ICLA Irish Higher Education licence while Meghan Mazella from the Copyright Licensing Agency (UK) will explain the Digital Content Store https://www.cla.co.uk/digital-content-store
 
Speakers from the Institutes of Technology will talk about their experiences of the process of procuring and implementing the open source library management system Koha.
