Job Vacancy at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI): Library Assistant, Permanent Full-time (x3)

Location:            RCSI Library, No.26 York Street, Dublin 2 and RCSI Library, Beaumont Hospital
Reporting to:     Assistant Librarian
Contract:           Permanent, Full-time
The post-holders will proactively assist library customers access and use library resources, services and facilities to support their learning, teaching and research activities; and positively support the development and delivery of these services and resources. All Library Assistants are members of the Customer Services team providing a welcoming and knowledgeable frontline service to users; supporting teaching and learning activities; participating in outreach and library promotions; and providing dedicated support in one or more portfolio areas e.g. Systems Development and Support; Teaching & Learning etc.

This post is a permanent appointment at the Library Assistant grade (starting salary depends on experience - minimum entry point of €28,218). The appointee reports to an Assistant Librarian.
