Stafford Beer's professional problem was to think fifty years ahead of his times. When I worked with him in Uruguay, in 1987, I thought he was twenty years ahead, but now I think he was 50 years ahead.
I still remember him telling me: "I want Sanguinetti to be the first president to speak to a computer"
