There is no particular reason to bother Seamus with changing anything. The
Celtic-L settings have not changed in the past three years, and sending html
mails has been possible since the switch to a newer version of the listserv
programme in 2002 - that was a change instituted by heanet, and there is
nothing we as listowners can do about this.
The only way of avoiding html formatted mails being sent to the list is now
for the sender to take care to only send emails formatted as plain text. As
the list rules ask for exactly this, I can start banning people who don't
follow this particular rule, but that would seem a bit harsh to me. As such,
if you, as a matter of courtesy, could take care that you don't send mails
in the wrong format, the whole problem would be gone instantly.
