Hello All--

The lyric below is taken from the Alan Stivell CD "The Mist of Avalon", and
credited to D.P./Tom Morrys, with the additional notes: "Taliesin was a
Bard in the court of Prince Uryen in the 6th century. In this poem, he
describes (in the language spoken by King Arthur) the battle of Catraeth,
before this city was taken by the Saxons. The chorus in the honour of Uryen
was adapted into modern Welsh by Tom Morrys." Would some kind soul on the
list be willing to provide the English translation? It is such a powerful,
wonderful song; I would love to know what words inspired such passion.

Many Thanks,
Lois
