Doesn't Plague leave indications on the bones? I'm no palaeo-ontologist but I covered a bit of that. I don't think it leaves fatal traumas, you are right (obviously, being the acknowledged expert on the list!) but doesn't the plague affect the skeletal structure, like leaving small holes or striations or something like that? It was a few years ago I did anything about this, you have to forgive my fuzziness.
