I've been following the on-going thread like everybody else. I guess
like all heated debate on Afrik-IT, I am sure this one will also settle
Meanwhile wishing everybody a great Year 2000 and beyond.
Perhaps we could share info on Y2K casualties in our respective
neighbouhoods when we enter the new year.... Will be interesting to know
how African countries will be sailing through the stormy Y2K waters...

On the Contrary!! Anthony.
Yes!!, I am also listening the the drum beat coming out of
Washington...but I don't really think it is my job (at least at this
stage) to shut it down... Remember as I've always pointed out we are all
Afrik-IT's keeper...and we've been doing fine this way for the past five
years. And I am sure you guys (without me) can handle and resolve this
thread....as you've always done in the past.
BTW..quoting Kaka-katsu-katsu, the village philosopher from my hometown,
'praise in public and rebuke in private' -- I will follow this line (i.e
rebuke in private) if things get out of hand on this or any other thread
on Afrik-IT... provided it will help to cool down things...
You all have a nice day.
And bye for now.
