Kate,

        You did not say what style of mandolin you wished to learn to play.  If you
want to play only Irish traditional music, you should probably contact Mick
Mollony (sp?).  If you want to play Irish and a whole lot more, my nickel is
on John McGann (he has a web site).  If you are looking for bluegrass, Jack
Tottle has written an extremely good book to get one started and in fact,
accompany them all along the trip.  I don't know of a computer instruction
seminar.  Good Luck.
