I guess the storm is now over and we can now get back the business
of doing what we've been doing on this list since 1995.
The impression has been given (unfortunately) that the Afrik-IT is not
being admin. I can't see how this is the case...given that it has been
from strenght to strenght over the years.
Yes... we do have some problems every now and then...who don't.
I set up the list and still administer and promote it at every IT
conference I've attended all over the place over the years.
I am sure some of you might have got on the list via that publicity.
My view, as I indicated in the first message far back in 1995 is that.. we
should all be Afrik-IT's keeper. In fact the way every body rally around to
resolve the latest hitch..is a demonstration of that spirit.
Again.. Afrik-IT is open and unmoderated... I will do everything possible
to keep it going..
....but again, I cannot control events out there...no one can..
In any case... one of the lessons I've learnt from the Afrik-it-experience
is NOT TO PANIC..when there is a cyberstorm out there...it will blow
over...it always does....
Bye for now and lets get back to Afrik-IT issues...
