If I recall correctly, the last new pronoun to be added was "its" -
Shakespeare nowhere uses it , writing instead sometimes "his" and sometimes
"it" ("The hedge-sparrow fed the cuckoo so long/That it had it head bit off
by it young" - KING LEAR).
