Does it give you nightmares?
Perhaps it's the truth? And all this discussion has some meaning?
What if you do have a choice whom you will serve,
the one true God or satanic deceiver/s ??
What happened to an ancient Gael when he/she died?
Do we know for sure?
Perhaps the so-called 'Mosaic' religions have
the king of all the carrot-and-stick stories?
Choose eternal life in paradise with God,
or choose eternal torment,
bitter regrets and gnashing of teeth...
All you have to do is choose wisely?
Do you realise that Islam, Judaism, and Christianity
all have hell awaiting the unfaithful?
Have you read the about the Nordic hell,
the bloodless world of the dead of Roman Vergil's Aenaid,
the no-escape-for-anyone grim Hades of the Greeks,
the underworlds of the Maori, Slavs and Aztecs?
the Yomo-na-kuni hell of the Japanese,
the *many* hells of the Buddhists...
Even China and India have underworlds,
Yen-lo is Lord of the Underworld of the Chinese,
and Yama of the Indians...
Have you heard of Shiva the destroyer,
the Indian Doomsday,
Kali and the Nataraja dance of death...
and of Kalki who is said to be going to save
only a 'remnant' at the end of the age...
This is a sort of mixed grab-bag of doom,
but pretty consistent all over the world?
