Worse! You are going to find out even less about what happened over a
millenium ago by typing questions to this mailing list, that's a fact.
For that you need to take a shovel and go out there into the real world
and dig, or alternatively study language structures dating from before
then, or examine surviving artifacts and manuscripts, or make comparative studies of societies in similar circumstances.
To that extent, I suggest you accompany Ray on one of his field trips.
Anyway you go, at least traces of what you seek are out in the real
world; they certainly do not exist inside this silly bloody computer network, that's dead certain. It has only been in existence for about
