This ticket is being reissued as a reminder.
Power in the NOC will have to brought off-line for installation of a
UPS. All backbone equipment and servers will be powered down for the

The opportunity will also be taken during this window to move some
customers to another backbone router.
HEAnet backbone will be off-line which will result in no traffic
to/from all client sites for duration of outage. An at risk period of
1 hour and 30 minutes will be needed. Attempts will be made to
minimise downtime of the backbone during the at-risk period
Other services will also be affected including
The following customers will be moved from Moskva to Andel, incurring
a short additional downtime during the maintenance window:
DIT, ITnet, NUI Maynooth, UL.
This will help spread the load among the backbone routers and improve
resiliency by offering separate paths to the external gateway. IP
addresses of links will *not* be changed so no reconfiguration is
necessary on the site's part.
All routers, servers and electrical equipment in the NOC will be
