Was out over the weekend, so I just saw the post regarding Peter Browne's
video. It's fine, but really oriented more to a B/C box which he plays
well. His demonstration of ornamentation is helpful though for either.
Having looked for a C#/D video and found none, my suggestion is to find a
reputable player of the box you choose and video tape them. What's better
is to sit, listen and watch. In July, I'll be traveling to the Catskills
for their Irish week to do just that. O'Brien and McComiskey will be
leading the workshops, but there will be C#/D players there including
Robert Abrams, a player who is probably unknown to this list but he really
impressed me with his playing on C#/D. He'll soon have his new cd out.
Should be a good one.
