One of the three lines to C&W in the States has experienced a
number of flaps over the last day as part of an ongoing fault with
one of our three E1s to the U.S.
Minimal impact. One E1 was brought down for testing, limiting
throughput to 4MB, but this peak was rarely reached. Since the fault
seems to have been successfully repaired, the lines are now at

T.E. have detected errors on line and are trying to localise source.
Line has been looped at Marine House and T.E. will test line
The remaining two lines are not saturated so performance
will not be affected.

Telecom rerouted a line between Adelaide Road and Merrion Exchange,
tested, and showed it clear. NOC restored the line at 12:00 and have
monitored clean since then. Closed ticket with MCI.
