Is that perhaps something we, as a list, need to examine? I can't help
thinking that scaring off teenagers who _want_ to learn probably isn't
something to be proud of.
HERE HERE JULIET. I AGREE. THIS LIST SPENDS TOO MUCH TIME BEING CRITICAL OF
ONE ANOTHER AND NOT ENOUGH TIME SHARING INFORMATION. IT IS INTERMINABLY
BORING TO READ ONE FLAME AFTER ANOTHER. HOW ABOUT NOT RESPONDING IF THOSE ON
"HIGH" DEEM SOMEONE'S POST SOPHOMORIC OR UNSOPHISTICATED. ALSO, DOESN'T
SPIRITUALITY HAVE TO DO WITH CULTURE? IS THIS LIST LIMITED TO DISCUSSIONS OF
COLD, HARD, PROVEN, CALCULATED ACADEMIC THEORY AND BLASTING PEOPLE WHO DON'T
MEASURE UP TO THIS STANDARD OUT OF THE WATER? SOMETIMES IT SEEMS SO TO ME.
(I'LL PROBABLY GET BLASTED FOR THIS TOO..BUT WHO CARES? ... YAWN...) IN MY
OPINION, DIVERSITY OF INTEREST AND OPINION CAN ONLY MAKE THE LIST MORE
INTERESTING AND LESS ACADEMICALLY ELITIST.
LET THE INEVITABLE ROASTING BEGIN.
