I've personally never found English to be all that ear-pleasing, however, I
know of at least 2 Brazilians and 4 Bulgarians who say they studied it
because they like the way it sounds. I even know of one native Gaelic
speaker who admits she prefers singing Psalms in English versus Gaelic
because it sounds "exotic" to her. (At the time I was doing a group
interview with 5 native speakers, there are several minutes of silence on
my recording after she made her "confession", then a hasty change to the
impact of W.W.II on the community.)
'Course, my least favorite language is French-sorry, folks.
