Unfortunately, not all Welsh speakers have been 'converted' into taking the
actions necessary to protect their language and culture. Like any other
people, we are not a homogenous 'blob' and are instead made up of radicals,
moderates and conservatives (albeit in a sense different from English
society, as speaking Welsh is a political statement in itself ). As for
protesting in England - can you imagine the response (if some of the
responses on this list are to go by).
