Neily's version of this tune was re-issued on the EMI label on a release
entitled "The Irish Phongraph" which arose out of the popoularity of RTE
Radio Series of the same name which was presented by Nicholas Carolan. The
series set out to initially explore commercially released recordings of
Irish music, mainly from the 78 RPM period and eventually due to its
standard of excellence and popularity was re-commissioned to explore the
wider field of private recordings / tapes etc. The EMI recording contains
many early 78s and is a celebration of the recording history of EMI in the
field of Irish music.
A transcription of the tune can be found in Volume 2 of the Carideas na
bhFidleiri Donegal Fiddle Tutor series. It was also posted on the Donegal
A recording of this set by Roisin McGrory and her brother Damian Harrigan
(playing as a duet) is included on the just released CD "The Fiddle Music of
Donegal Volume 2" on the Cairdeas na bhFidleiri label. This performance is
brilliant and holds great fidelity with the original.

PS Neily sourced this version from his mother Annie Sweeney of Cruit Island
and chose the key to reflect the character of her lilting. I spoke about
this track at length to his wife and the man who took him up to Dublin to
record this track. There are two abrupt double stop chords played at the
very end to finish the tune. He told both of them he did this to mean "So
There"! (in other words, top that).
