You'll get no argument from me! It just so happens that in my computer CD
player right now is "The Star Above the Garter," on which you'll find Denis
Murphy and Julia Clifford playing *three* jigs known as "Tom Billy's." The
first is the well-known three-part jig, the second is unfamiliar to me, and
the third is the one we're discussing here. Perhaps we should post the abcs to
the others if we have them.
I think this is also an appropriate forum in which to point out the correct
surname of Tom Billy *Murphy* of Sliabh Luachra. Please spread the word!

That's what I thought too, but when someone else agreed it was "Flowers of
