Hear , hear! I do not like to even start getting into the old debate again,
because it really is useless (reminds me of the Solas Vs. Dervish long
thread of about a year or two ago). Thank god its a free world and each of
us can listen to the music he/she likes best!
BTW - I just received the new Solas live video in the mail a couple of days
ago. In a way its disappointing because it lacks the "craic". The music is
great as always, but the musicians seem too tired or too serious. Maybe
they were aware to the cameras around, or maybe it was the "tired" and
Its only been a month since I've seen Solas perform in Bethlehem PA, and
what impressed me so , in addition to the wonderful music, was their
"tightness" and cheerfulness.
The video includes music from the first 2 CD's and Pastures of Plenty from
the new CD. Also on the video - interviews with all Solas members while
rehearsing somewhere in NY.
