Good day!

First of all, just wanted to let you know that we are looking at ways to
significantly reduce your download time of the IDN Web Site
(http://www.idn.org/).  If anyone would be willing to host a mirror
site, please let us know.

The IDN quick link of the week may be of Interest to many of you in the
IT Industry.

The IDN has introduced its first Discussion forum to be added to the IDN
Web Site at http://www.idn.org/.  It provides readers to respond to the
newly updated ViewPoints Column, "Information Technology and Third World
Countries" (http://www.idn.org/viewpoints/view98-4.htm).  From my
experience on this list, none of you strike me as being reluctant to
share your views, to take a look at the piece by Ms. Oldham and feel
free to respond to her view.
