William Addison Dwiggins is the name. He was a famous art director, book
designer and type designer. His original was called Caledonia, the
digital revival is New Caledonia. He studied lettering and type design
under F. W. Goudy in Chicago, moved to Boston and did a great deal of
book design for Knopf/Borzoi.
