The Irish Gaelic word for 'prince' is 'flath' (or 'flaith)
The Russian word for 'prince' is 'vlad'
This is not in the 'vater-pater-athar' class of root words, I don't
think. Maybe it indicates a more recent connection than early
     Indo-European.

Comment, anyone? Is there a list with this word-pair in it?
