I've just joined this list and have entered this discussion have way through.
Was it discussing such legends as Madog, a medieval Welsh prince who
travelled to North America? From some recent speculation on TV in the UK, I
noted that the Mandan tribe in Montana(?) have similarities in tools and
language with Wales that are not shared by North American groups. This was
held as a posiible link between Madaog and his journey to North America.
If I'm way off course, don't shoot me as I'm only flesh and blood.
