shaking hands, memory lapses and all the rest of the usual stage fright
symptoms. Why have I subject myself to this torture? Well, for a (imho) good
reason. In my experience - without some sort of championship belt, medal or
sticker, it is very hard for diaspora Irish trad musicians to be taken
seriously or accepted on par with our Irish-residing counterparts no matter
how sizable our talent or deep our knowledge or bla/s.
