You're sunk no matter which way you go.

Well maybe not but we all have times when we need to get something
off our chests. I understand how you feel. I'm sure many of us do. I
have always felt like my high school classmates and I were the first members
of the "sucker generation". No sooner did I start college, the Arab oil
embargo hit the U.S. and the economy went deep into the tank. By the time
I got around to graduating there were no jobs to be had. Some of my friends
have never found a decent job even after 20 years. While the job market has
improved somewhat for today's graduates, the students at the university where
I teach have a harder and harder time paying their tuition as the tuition
keeps going up while the minimum wage has barely changed.
Try to keep your chin up. I wish you the best of luck.
