I subscribed to this list about three weeks ago at the suggestion
of several sources, thinking it would be a good place to catch up
on things Celtic, without realizing the volume of the list. (When
I say volume I refer not only to number of messages ;-) .) Hell,
if I weren't the mail administrator for my firm, I'd have long
ago sent myself instructions to sign off (..."wasteful use of
bandwidth, use of resources," more meaningless drivel intended to
intimidate...) or lose my privileges.
This is, however, *not* a complaint. I have found nearly all of
the threads thought-provoking, entertaining or, if nothing else,
strange. (No mention will be made here of a particular recent
thread that sort of went haywire.) I just wanted to thank all of
you who participate, and invite those of you who sit idly by (you
know who you are, but nobody else does, except listserv.hea.ie)
to contribute to this wonderfully eclectic mix of topics.
I don't (and likely won't) post often, because I'm here to learn
a thing or two, not to profess any authority, since I have none.
When I think I can be of assistance, or have a question burning
holes through my temples, you'll hear from me. Now, if I could
possibly figure out how to read all this stuff in fifteen to
twenty minutes a day, I'd have it made. In the meantime, please
