Well, hell people -- we're all members of one big, happy, incestuous
family! Ain't we all just cousins, 'cause we're all related to Noah?
My maternal grandmother spent considerable time tracing the "Adney"
family line back to old England, all the way to the "time of Robin
Hood." She linked us to King James I of England -- who, of course,
was also King James VI of Scotland. So perhaps I'm related through
the Stewarts to Robert the Bruce, hence my mother's marriage to
Robert Bruce Ladd?
Hey! I'll bet I'm the legitimate heir to the Scottish throne. Heck,
my daughters have always wanted to be princesses...
Or is this all a fantasy in the demented mind of a man who has read
several books on Scottish history in the last few months...
