A secured credit card donation may be made through the Isle of
Eigg Trust's web site at http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/eigg/
Checks payable to the Isle of Eigg Trust may be mailed to:
Secretary, Isle of Eigg Trust
Isle of Eigg PH42 4RL
Telephone donations may be made by calling 0131-226-3242.
NOTE: In the U.S., dial 011-44-131-226-3242.
The web page was recently updated to show the 1.5 million purchase
agreement so this payment information should still be valid.
Also, to stress the obvious, any donation you make other than a
personal check will be in British currency so if you donate 100 pounds,
you're donating somewhat more than $150 American dollars.
According to parts of newspaper articles displayed on the web page,
the successful bid was accomplished with the aid of a very wealthy women
from northern England who gave the Trust 900,000 pounds of the total 1.5
million purchase price.
