<<Wendy: I suggest that FIRST you apply for a lovely Gaelic version of your
this suggestion from Pamela thingy mad woman with ravens.
and what have we got for you??
Wendy doesn't have a variation in Irish that I know of (dunno about those other
languages) and the nearest I got was to Gaelicise it into the nearest irish
words I could think of:
Which unfortunately means lamb of god - not the sort of thing you wanna go
shouting about unless you want a LOT of Christian Fundies chainsawing through
your front door.
how about just straightforward Uain, and with the Barber tagged on the end you
get Lamb Barber - a sheep shearer (NO jokes PLEASE)... which sounds like you
could getb away with mutating into a reasonable excuse for becoming the Clan
Sheepherd?? That may not sound like much, until you realise just how chilly it
gets in Glen Miller come winter with no woolies to wrap up in.
Can anyone give me the irish for Barber or Shearer? I have not got my dictionary
