Howdy CelticLers! And especially Lara, Bette, and Beth!!
Re. Eigg con't, round two
Still my turn? How about this on'? The answer is *not*
particularly Celtic, but the riddle is adapted from a
traditional Scottish Gaelic folk prayer...
Beauty of the skies,
Mother of the stars,
Foster-child of the sun,
Gem of the night.
Now on to a few quick replies...

Thanks. And i'm sure MAQQI thanks you. He sent in some good
ones! And appropriate for the list, i'd say. By now you must
know that the answer is "a walnut on the tree" (but could be almost
any nut really--even a hazel--which Ruadh also pointed out).
