Rudra's style reminds me very much of Tom(foolery) Noonan's postings.
When I first read one of those, I was so bemused that I asked my
husband his opinion of the writing style. With his quick Polish wit,
my husband immediately recognized the Celticness of it: J. Joyce wanna-be.
If anyone finds these annoying, I suggest thinking of them as pretend James
Joyce. That makes them a bit more tolerable.
I wonder what it would be like if everyone on this list tried to write like
James Joyce for a day? I'm not very good at it, but then the
attempts to copy Joyce on the list haven't been very good either. At least
long quotes from various authors do break up the monotony.
