Hi Nemo,
Yes. And Botswana as well. The Southern African Development Organisation (SADC)
got a leased 9.6k line from Gaborone to Pretoria, and Info Botswana is
getting a full IP service going.
TCP/IP links also recently stabilized in Angola. EBONet
(http://www.ebonet.net/) has a 64k link to Global One, and the Universidade
Agostinho Neto has a link to the Portuguese Academic Network (RCCN).
However, the UAN link is temporarily down due to some local telco problems.
More details about these (and other new developments) have been sent to us
and posted on the respective country pages at http://www.nsrc.org/
Thanks to all who have provided helpful information and assistance to our
efforts to maintain valid data.
