Many have asserted that it is hard to gauge the real value of the Internet.
However, I have read articles saying that the Internet has helped increase
economic growth in commericial enterprise. Is anyone familiar with any studies
dealing with the impact the Internet has had on commercial activity between
nations. Besides statistical models and data, I'm looking for ways to measure
the increase of international trade using the Internet. In an era where
regional trading blocs are becoming dominant, the idea of using the Internet
for increased trade could be valuable in the developing regions. I am
particularly interested in the African region.
Thank you in advance.
