I justified this several times, one quoted above. I actually work with PHC nurses.
Have you *ANY* idea how this works?

What is -Valid- traditional medicine? In practice, they are lobbing off the uninformed
with their herbal enemas and stuf. I have had to look after several renal shutdowns
(worse then anything I have ever seen before and since, Malaria is nothing against
this) and a couple of fulminant liver necrosis...

Again, people who don't have first hand experience.
Our Minister has had a great idea though, we pushed through legislation establishing
a Board (exactly as for the Medical Practitioners) which all witch doctors have to
register with and elect its members. This is then to police itself...

Respectful language? You got to be kiding.
I am objective. Just go back into any given country and look what these
people have done. Have you *ANY* idea, first hand, about how the development

You seriously overestimate yourself and your importance. Nothing is further
on my mind. And most messages that I received on this were indeed highly
critical of your "contributions".

Yes, sure, and it is searchable by LYCOS.

My, my, my, are we ever arrogant. Thank you very much but no thanks. BTW
I might just get a contributor's copy of the new edition...

Sure, my feedback is always objective. You can look through the archives and you'll
find that I have been consistent in this. And, I do have a track record to back all this
up. It's not that I am looking for a meal ticket when I am forced to return to Africa,
I am in Africa and doing what I am preaching.
