If by Sneak In you mean that you want to steal money from the organisers
by avoiding paying admission, I'm not sure I want to help you! But if
you mean that you're willing to pay, but might not have been invited...
thre are a number of graphic design & type trade shows. A Web search should
find quite a few -- ATypeI has one, and there's Seybold (which you've just
missed, but there's another one in September or so, in San Francisco, USA).
I'm not sure of any offhand that are conveniently close to New Jersey;
Seybold Seminars in the Spring are in Boston; that's mostly for prepress
and online, although there's a font free-for-all and a type exhibition,
and the major type vendors are usually there. Linotype forgot to bring
any info on fonts to their booth this year!
You can often get in for free if you submit a conference paper, or if you
are working on a trade show booth -- although in the latter case, you
don't usually get to go to the conference.
