This is the SECOND PART of the HELINA96 message

Scientific Tour
A scientific tour will follow the HELINA 96 congress. Beginning in
theJohannesburg/Pretoria area on Thursday 18 April, it will take
participants to Durban,Cape Town and Bloemfontein.
Participants will be exposed to important aspects of the South African health
care system and key health informatics projects. The week end will
be spent in one of our famous game reserves, and there will opportunities for
sampling some of the many attractions these cities have to offer - a trip down a
mine, visit one the Western Cape's lovely vineyards and explore Cape Town's
exciting Waterfront. Cost will be R8000 (US$ 2250) for all meals and
accommodation and local transport (single supplement is R950 (US$ 270 extra).
The cost of economy class seats between Durban -Cape Town - Bloemfontein -
Johannesburg is R1525 (US$ 430). Excluded will be personal expenses
(eg. telephone calls, laundry, etc), travel and medical insurance and gratuities
and accommodation for the 2 nights in Johannesburg.
Participants should ensure that their hotel bookings for the congress are extended
to include the nights of Wednesday 17 April and Thursday 18 April.
This arrangement will allow you the benefits of the congress rates for the hotels and be more convenient
for you. The last day of the tour, Thursday 25 April, will be a full working day so participants will
be able to begin their journey home on Friday 26 April.
Participants from abroad may want to book their own flights as prices
are often cheaper for tickets bought out of the country.
If you do want to do this you should book the following flights
 and let us know!

Tuesday 23 April 07H00 Durban - Cape Town flight SA 605
Thursday 25 April 06H50 Cape Town - Bloemfontein flight SA 1138
Friday 26 April 09H10 Bloemfontein - Johannesburg flight SA 1138
or later flight if this would be more convenient for onward connections from
  Johannesburg

Places are limited and bookings may be difficult so please fax or email your
intentions right away. The tour can accommodate a minimum of six (6) and a
maximum of fourteen (14) participants. Costs are subject to the exchange rate.
