there used to be a Tourist Office (Bo/rd Fa/ilte) on Upper O'Connell St.
They were/are unusally friendly and helpful for a semi-Govt office. They
may have a list of registered B&B - Irish Hotels, unless they've changed
policy, were pricing themselves out of existence. Further up the street
turn right at Findlater's Church into Gardiner Place. On the left side of
the street there are a couple of Hotel's that may be economically
accessible. For pubs check the evening papers - they don't play every
evening - but the best way is either to enquire in your accodomation, or
better still go to the nearest pub and over a Guinness ask the barman.

central Dublin watch your wallet. Walter Dunphy. [log in to unmask]
