Well, O.K. Mic, but only because you asked so nicely.
Sharon Smith Hurlburt ([log in to unmask])
As some of you might guess from that fact that I have a last name for a
middle name, I am married- and to a wonderful, wonderful man named Randy.
Incidentaly, my last name is pronounced exactly as it's spelt.
I'm currently a 2nd Assistant Manager at a local NRM record store and
hopefully will be attending graduate school in about a year for Religious
Studies, after which I will get to teach people how cool it is to be Pagan
at the college level (as well as how cool it is to be Buddhist, Jewish,
I am a Wiccan High Priestess and fully certified Universal Life Church
Minister (so I can officially be called Rev, but you don't really have to),
though I don't get paid for that.
I'm in what is allegedly the third largest city in the state of Pennsylvania
in the U.S. o'A, not that you can tell by living here. (Erie- you know, the
one by the lake).
As for Celtic-ness- Irish on both sides, Scotish on my mom's, English and
maybe Welsh on my dad's.
By the way, Mic, what comics do you do? We both read them- Randy reads a
lot of Dark Horse stuff, I read a lot of Vertigo (friends often compare me
to Death) and we both read a lot of Indi stuff (Poison Elves, A Distant
whose husband, when she asked him if she was being to harsh on Conrad,
replied, "Oh, no. Not at all" and then mumbled something about punching
him in the face (Randy really doesn't like that kind of an attitude- he
feels it gives his gender a bad name)
