Movies aren't usually made by historians, but rather by flashy
entertainers. There seems to be a strange misconseption that anything
done by historians will end up dry, boring, and smelling of mildewed books
and pipe smoke. I don't know, but when I go to a movie, I go for action
and emotion -- not for research.
