Someone asked a question about a well in Donegal, and I thought that this
might be useful information. A man in Wales, whose name is Tristan Gray
Hulse, has spent his life researching wells in Wales, Ireland, and
Cornwall. He has found several himself that had been lost for
centuries. He puts out a publication called "The Source." It is

An international conference in Galway, listed on the site, yielded some
gems of reading material (by checking out what the speakers have written).
