My heart goes out to you Angela and all your neighbors. I worked at the
Burke Museum of Natural History at the Univ of Wash when the museum
inherited all the bird carcasses from Prince William Sound. What a
grisly process it was to autopsy a random sample of the birds and detail
cause of death then `prepare' the skins and some skeletons for other
research projects. We had to rent an entire cold storage facility in
south Seattle just to store them.
