Yes the investment for the earth station of NSN is very high because
you need a big dish for C-band. If your node is in the same Ku-spot
as Telkom SA then a small dish for the Ku-band will do, but they are
charging higher prices for their running costs.
I don't want to promote NSN but they do got a VSAT link up and
running. Which international ISP links does Telkom or Transtel got up
and running? Does anybody got experiences with TelKom, Transtel or
alternatives? Who knows the contact person at Transtel?
