Ann Scott asked:
>So what is a "clump"?
after I wrote that certain faces look best when "arranged in a clump
(forgive the jargon :-)) rather than linearly". She, like another who asked
me privately, must have weak batteries in her irony detector.
I simply meant words clumped together in a group, like 3 or 4 short lines
each containing a couple of words, as opposed to long lines of 10 words (or
some other number). It is my contention that certain faces look best when
the words are arranged in clumps, and other faces are best for text-length
Sorry for the confusion. I'll try to be more clear in future.
