Glad to see some discussion!
I am planning a trip to Rome as part of a class on Jungian psychology. The
funny thing, I discovered is that I am harboring a resentment towards Rome
for their invasion of Britain and Scotland---and poor treatment of Boudicca
and her daughters, of course.
Now is that irrational, or what!
My family, the Bruces, went to Scotland as Normans and prior to that--were
part of the Viking raiders (people like Thorvald, the Skullsplitter) in the
Orkney islands---who also raided Scotland! So, how can I hold a grudge
Has anyone experienced a similar irrational resentment for something that
happened almost 2,000 years ago?
