Wow! It would appear I have started something! Celtic art is my "thing" in
terms of interest, although I still feel I have sooooooo much still to
learn, so the references I can sight/offer are quite numerous to back up my
statements. Unfortuneately I am at work, but I will dig them out tonight and
offer a few for anyone who's interested in having a scan. I will get back to
your messages, but tomorrow, when I can offer you all a bit more than just
what's rattling around in my head.
Paul, what aspect of the Celts are you interested in? (This will help me to
scale down the refernces that would suit your interest best - I have stuff
from archaeology, to art, to social/cultural customs, history, art
critiques, references on specific forms such as swords, coins, knotwork,
metalwork etc and then some of these are further defined by their historical
period e.g. prehistory, Romano-celtic, medieval, Iron-Age, etc.)
I love sharing this stuff so its no problem if anybody would like the
Keep the good stuff coming. I have looked for a list such as this for nearly
two years; One that offers all people a chance to share, learn and enjoy
stuff that's based on knowledge and experience and the willingness to know
more about the Celts without having to battle with peoples egos all the time
(sigh). Just when I'd nearly given up hope, I found this list. Thanks to all
for offering something new every day.
