I know this is all a bit off subject, but timely since Sept. 15 is also
Mexican Independence Day. I don't recall the difference between the 2
days (May 5th and Sep 15th). Can anyone give a short summary?
I only ask because of todays date being the 15th and there is a HUGE
parade in Chicago celebrating the day.
I think Americans do way to much celebrating on a superficial level. I
believe indigenous people are more in touch with the spirit behind the
dates; they have "dances' nearly once a month. Many "dances" relate to
the cycles of the moon. Haven't we have just passed harvest moon?
We know return to our regularly scheduled programme.
